Patrick Glatthaar was born in the South of Germany in 1985, he lives and works between Paris and Berlin.
Originally trained as a hairdresser, Glatthaar moved to Vienna in 2008 to focus on makeup. After 8 years in Austria, he moved to Berlin in 2016 to develop new collaborations with photographers and stylists and expand his practice. In 2020 he was a recipient of the British Fashion Council's New-Wave creatives award.
He regularly works with publications and clients such as Vogue Paris, Carcy, Pop Magazine, British Vogue, Revue Beauty, Exhibition Magazin, SSAW, M le Monde, Vogue Germany, Numero, 032C, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Rimowa, GCDS, MCM, and Zara.
Throughout his career, Glatthaar has been collaborating with photographers such as Jonas Lindstroam, Bruno Staub, Brett Lloyd, Jackie Nickerson, Lukas Wassmann, Pierre-Ange Carlotti, Mert and Marcus, Vito Fernicola, Thomas Lohr, and Oliver Hadlee Pearch
