Patrick Glatthaar was born in the South of Germany in 1985, he lives and works between Paris and Berlin.
Originally trained as a hairdresser, Glatthaar moved to Vienna in 2008 to focus on makeup. After 8 years in Austria, he moved to Berlin in 2016 to develop new collaborations with photographers and stylists and expand his practice. In 2020, he was a recipient of the British Fashion Council's New-Wave creatives award.
He regularly works with publications such as Dazed, Revue Beauty, D La repubblica, Vogue (Italy, French, British), Carcy, Pop Magazine, Exhibition Magazin, SSAW, M le Monde, Vogue Germany, Numero and 032C. His advertising clients include Armani, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Burberry, Hugo Boss, J.W. Anderson, GCDS, and Zara.
Throughout his career, Glatthaar has been collaborating with photographers such as Jonas Lindstroem, Vito Fernicola, Bruno Staub, Brett Lloyd, Jackie Nickerson, Lukas Wassmann, Mert and Marcus, Thomas Lohr, and Oliver Hadlee Pearch
